PRIVACY
Privacy | Limitdesk
The countdown runs on your device. You do not need to create a Limitdesk account or connect your Codex account.
What is stored in your browser
When you set a countdown, Limitdesk saves the recovery timestamp and selected calendar reminder offset in your browser's local storage. This lets the countdown return when you reopen the site in the same browser.
Use Clear in the countdown panel to remove that saved setting. Clearing this site's browser data also removes it. If browser storage is unavailable, the countdown can still work for the current tab.
Limitdesk also saves your selected language in this browser. Change it with the language selector, or clear this site's browser data to remove the preference.
What the page code sends
The countdown and calendar file are generated locally. Limitdesk's page code does not send the recovery timestamp to a server, request Codex credentials, or connect to your account. It does not currently load an analytics service or third-party advertising scripts.
The browser requests public feed data from our Cloudflare Worker. Cloudflare may receive ordinary network metadata, including your IP address and request headers. The Worker fetches X’s public profile and FxTwitter post data. It does not receive your countdown time or Codex credentials. AI interpretation is disabled, so fetched text is not currently sent to an AI provider.
The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and technical logs, to deliver and secure the site. Its processing is separate from the countdown code. See OpenAI's privacy policy for the hosting service provider's information.
Calendar files
The downloaded calendar file contains the time you entered, a reminder, and a link to the Codex usage dashboard. Once you import it, your calendar provider handles the event under its own settings and policies. Removing the countdown from this website does not remove an event you already imported into a calendar.
External links
Official documentation, the usage dashboard, status pages, and X open as external websites. Those services have their own privacy practices and may require sign-in. Limitdesk does not receive your credentials from them.
Feedback by email
The feedback and sponsorship links open your email app. No message is sent until you choose to send it. If you email the desk, the recipient receives your email address and the message content so they can read and respond to your enquiry. Avoid including account tokens, passwords, or private project files.
For questions about an email you sent, or to request its deletion, contact binglingling906@gmail.com.
Future changes
If analytics, an on-site feedback form, or advertising is introduced, this notice will be updated to describe the collection and relevant choices. The current site has no newsletter signup or payment form.
